Indian challenge ends in Womens World 9 ball Cship The Indian challenge in the Women’s World 9-ball Championship came to an end on the conclusion of the opening day after the two participating national players suffered respective losses to crash out of the four-day event, here.

From India, Chennai cueist Neena Praveen lost her first match to Joanne Ashton of Canada 0-7.

Neena then lost to Korean World No.12 Yu Ram Cha 1-7 to bow out of the tournament.

Bengal’s Suniti Damani put up little resistance against third-seeded Philippines player Rubilin Amit as she went down 2-7 and also lost to Line Kjorsvik of Norway 1-7.
